This is a print of the lightening strike at Haydon's shearing shed in Glenthompson. This lightening started the fire that burned into the grampians and through to the little dessert near Dimboola. Haydon's shearing shed in Glenthompson is a historical landmark, known for its association with Dr. Gerald Haydon. It was part of the property "Bethany" where Dr. Haydon ran his surgery and also included stables, a dairy, and an orchard. The shearing shed, along with other structures, was built to support the property's agricultural activities.
Historical Significance:
The shearing shed is part of the larger property "Bethany," which has historical significance due to its association with Dr. Haydon.
